The problem
A restaurant, café or sweet shop needs a menu that customers can open on their phone, in their own language, and order from, whether the order goes out on WhatsApp or straight to the shop.
Behind that menu, the owner has to run the shop: orders, tables, the counter, stock and the books. And a platform serving many shops has to give each one its own identity without building a new app every time.
What we built
Four connected parts.
-
Customer menu
An installable menu customers open on their phone.
- Installs like an app and works offline
- English and Arabic, with full right-to-left layout
- Seven visual designs to choose from
- Stories, an AI menu assistant, Diet Mode and a mascot companion
-
Ordering
From the cart to the shop.
- Orders sent on WhatsApp
- Or placed in the app, with live order tracking
-
Shop app
For owners and staff, on every shift.
- Orders board, table orders and counter sales
- Stock
- Full accounting with VAT, in two currencies
- Cash-drawer shifts and Z-reports
- An export for the accountant
-
Platform console
Where CETUS launches each shop.
- Its own identity and domain
- Its plan and features, set per shop
One platform, seven designs
Each shop picks a design and makes it its own, with its colours, logo and words. Open a menu and try it, in English or Arabic.
-
Pate Cream
Premium design v1 (opens in a new tab)
The full app: rows and banners on Home, offers, stories, Diet Mode and the menu assistant.
-
Matcha Garden
Premium design v4 (opens in a new tab)
A boutique’s app in cream: spaced serif capitals, its own opening screen and a side menu.
-
Green Bowl
Glass (opens in a new tab)
Frosted glass over the shop’s colour, a full-screen page for each item and a floating bar.
-
Crazy Food
Simple (opens in a new tab)
One page: the categories, a grid of items and a cart sent on WhatsApp.
-
Coffee Shop
Premium design v2 (opens in a new tab)
A greeting and search first, the categories as circles and a cart over the bottom bar.
-
Artisan Bakery
Premium design v3 (opens in a new tab)
A bakery’s printed menu, dark or light: a serif, dotted price leaders and the day’s date.
-
Corner Café
Cards (opens in a new tab)
Big category cards to swipe through, each opening its list of items.
-
A design of your own
When none of these fits your shop, we draw a new one around it.
Stack
- React
- The menu’s and the apps’ interfaces
- Tailwind CSS
- Styling and design tokens
- Supabase
- Postgres with row-level security, and Edge Functions in Deno
